AgeCalc

Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

Our Core Privacy Commitment:We believe your date of birth is private personal information. Every age calculation on AgeCalc runs 100% locally on your device via client-side JavaScript. Your birth dates are never sent to our servers, never logged, and never sold.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

When using our age calculator, you input dates of birth and comparison dates. These dates are processed solely in your device's browser memory (RAM) and are discarded as soon as you close or refresh the tab.

  • We do NOT transmit your birth dates across the Internet to any backend database.
  • We do NOT store your name, age, identity, or calculation history.
  • We do NOT sell, rent, or monetize your dates or calculation records.

2. Cookies & Local Storage

Our website uses standard browser localStorage strictly for non-sensitive interface preferences:

  • Theme Selection: Storing whether you prefer dark mode or light mode (theme: 'dark').

We do not use invasive third-party cross-site tracking cookies. You may disable local storage in your browser settings at any time without impacting core calculation abilities.

3. Hosting & Log Files

Like all standard web servers, our infrastructure host may automatically log standard connection metadata (such as IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, referring URLs, and timestamps). These logs are utilized purely for technical server maintenance, DDoS mitigation, and network security. They are never tied to individual age calculation inputs.

4. Contact Form Inquiries

If you voluntarily reach out to us via our Contact Form or email, we will only use your name and email address to reply to your inquiry. We never add support correspondence to marketing lists without explicit consent.

5. Children's Online Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)

AgeCalc does not knowingly solicit or collect personally identifiable data from children under the age of 13. Parents and guardians calculating child age benchmarks do so entirely on client-side memory without data submission.
